I love making a quick cilantro lime cream to top my tacos or to use as a dipping sauce for empanadas. It’s versatility is what makes it so amazing and the ease and minimal amount of time it takes to make is what keeps us coming back for more.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- Zest of 1 Lime.
- Juice of 1 Lime.
- 1/4 tsp (teaspoon) Salt.
- 1 Garlic clove, grated or pressed.
- 2-3 TB (Tablespoons) of Cilantro, chopped.
STEPS :
- Put all of your ingredients into a cup or mason jar and use an immersion blender to puree it and mix it all.
Alternatively,
- Add your sour cream, lime zest, lime juice and salt to a bowl. Finely chop your cilantro. Grate, press or finely dice your garlic and add to the same bowl and give it a good stir.
