Pico de Gallo

Pico de Gallo is one of those super quick and easy toppings that everyone should know how to make. Whether it for topping your tacos, meats and seafoods, or just used for dipping tortilla chips into and munching, it comes together within a few minutes and with just a few small adjustments, like the additions of garlic or other herbs, you can make your pico specifically to your liking!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 small White Onion
  • 2-4 TB (Tablespoons) Cilantro
  • Zest of 1 Lime
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 TB Oil
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • Pinch of Sugar
  • 1 clove of Garlic, pressed, chopped or grated (optional)

STEPS :

  1. Dice your tomatoes and finely dice your onion and add them both to a bowl.
  2. Zest your lime. Do a rough chop on your cilantro. Add your salt, pepper and sugar pinches, pour your oil and add your lime juice and mix!
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes and enjoy!
